Removing and Replacing the Wireless Antenna Cable for Pavilion fifteen-abXXX Notebook PCs

Before you begin

Removing the wireless antenna cable

To remove the wireless antennal cable, first follow the instructions to remove other components, and and then remove the wireless antenna cable.

Stride 4 Remove the two 3 mm P1 Phillips broad-head screws that secure the right display panel hinge to the display enclosure.
Step v Remove the 2.5 mm P1 Phillips-caput screw that secures the right display panel hinge to the brandish enclosure.
Pace vi Lift the correct display panel hinge off of the alignment pins on the display enclosure and remove.
Step 7 Remove the wireless antenna cable from the routing aqueduct that secures it to the display enclosure. annotation: Take care to notice the routing of the wireless antenna transceiver for subsequently replacement.
Step viii Advisedly peel back the metallic tape that secures the wireless antenna transceiver to the brandish enclosure.
Step 9 Using a non-conductive flat bladed tool, remove the wireless antenna transceiver from the display enclosure.

Replacing the wireless antenna cable

Use the following instructions to replace the wireless antenna cable and then the other removed components.
